Emery Fire holds monthly trainings, led by Utah Fire and Rescue Academy instructors for Firefighter Fundamental Training. We also join other departments in our County to participate in Wildland Fire Trainings and Regional Fire School.
Annually, in January, we attend Fire School hosted by Utah Fire and Rescue Academy, for two days of Leadership Training and two days of varied Fire Training.
Members train through the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy (UFRA) and the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG).
Training includes but is not limited to:
- Pump
- Ladder and Ventilation
- Wildfire
- Hose/ Line
- Apparatus/Engine
